With all of the rainouts and games being pushed backwards, this will(and has) effect the games on pitcher availability. Who can pitch, who is out of innings, etc.

With that said, what is the status of Carrollton and Valmeyer? Who will throw tomorrow? Aces available or not?

In the Lewistown sectional, Avon must have had a heck of a pitcher to shut out CPC, 1-0 yesterday so he will not be pitching tomorrow. Routt's ace, Chumley, will not be available tomorrow I don't think, because he pitched a full game Tuesday vs Mendon Unity. Crazy that you can play two games in a sectional and your ace never be available to throw a pitch.

Might make for some interesting games....

Lewistown Sectional Championship will now play their game on Monday. Lewistown has cancelled the game for tomorrow due to heavy rain they received today.

This will push back the Super Sectional until Tuesday.

Valmeyer should have their ace Phillip Reinhardt available. His record is 7-1 and has an ERA of 0.79. Given up nine runs, six earned. He's only a freshman too, which might be a good thing because if Carrollton can get some runs on the board early then there's a good chance he'll lose confidence.

Carrollton is hoping Kolten Bottom will be ready, but his shoulder has been sore for awhile. Hopefully he's ready to go for tomorrow. If if he keeps his pitches low and accurate then the vaunted Valmeyer hitters will have trouble. Both of these teams are loaded with juniors btw.

The Hawks will take on Valmeyer at 11am in the Sectional Championship game at Greenville College Saturday. Should be a great ballgame!

Seems like the game will be on at 11:00 A.M. and there's a 15% chance of rain from 11-2 P.M. Should have no weather problems.

Valmeyer defeats Carrollton 7-4 in a well fought game. The Hawks lead 2-0 going into the bottom of the 3rd but Valmeyer exploded for four runs and scored once in every inning after that. Carrollton made it interesting by scoring two runs in the top of the 6th, but the Pirates got another one in the bottom half of the inning.

Both teams will be solid next season and wouldn't be surprised if both don't play each in the playoffs in 2018.
