Talked with Montini head coach Jason Nichols today. I will post my interview on www.ihssn.net tonight. The Broncos lose three players to Division-One, with Michala Johnson heading off to Storrs, CT to play for Geno. Allison Seberger (Illinois State), Courtney Thomas (Marquette), and Mallory Sosnovich will graduate.
The team brings back Whitney Adams (North Carolina) and Whitney Holloway (Notre Dame), as a strong senior-to-be class. Johnson's younger sister, Malayna will be a sophomore and the 6'4" player has already received interest from Michigan, North Carolina, DePaul, Marquette, and Auburn. Kiki Wilson has received some mid-major D-1 interest, and Nakia Edom saw valuable time as a freshman. Montini will lose 6'4" sophomore-to-be Diamond Thompson, who will be transferring to Glenbard East.
