Default Class 4A State Championship : Bolingbrook vs. Chicago (Whitney Young)

Class 4A State Championship

Bolingbrook vs. Chicago (Whitney Young)

We have a rematch of last year's title game. I look for Bolingbrook to win its 2nd in a row.

I agree with your assesment. Bolingbrook can match up with Whitney Youngs quickness, but Bolingbrooks advantage (IMHO) is down low

Bolingbrook is indeed taller down low, but Whitney Young has faced a height disadvantage all season long and that hasn't stopped them, they beat a much taller Incarnate Word team by wearing them down with their pressure. For Bolingbrook to win, both Massengale and Tuck will have to play well. For Whitney Young to win, they'll have to slow down Massengale, it seems like everything B'brook does goes through her.

IMHO this one will come down to who wins the rebounding battle. You'd think B'brook would win it easily but WY did stay even with a taller Fenwick team on rebounds last night.

Both teams ranked in the top 25 by USAToday. Young a few spots ahead of Bolingbrook but I think Bolingbrook is the better team. Wish I could go.
