Orion 50 @ Elkville 12 (photos)

Needless to say it was like playing in a large mudpit. And I was on the sidelines.

As you can see from the 1st picture.. The game started out just the way the Falcons wanted. On their opening drive they struck first for a 6-0 lead.. But thats the only lead they would see. A good defensive effort kept them in the game at half only down 28-12. But the Chargers struck again for a 36-12 lead and tacked on 2 more for the final 50-12.

There was close to 40-50 Orion Charger fans who made their way 5 1/2 hours to Southern Illinois.. Good definition of Sickoitis to me..

Only to see (44)Alex Cook fumbles it right back to Orion. Ball is right behind (7) left knee

On this punt return, behind (10)Michael Tuttle lays (9)Ryan Heiman who was hit helmet to helmet and a flag was not thrown. He was shook up but probably has a mild cuncussion. I didnt see him return

Gotta love the emotion and expressions on the faces

These are some awesome shots. I certainly was pulling for the BDC team, but those water shots are simply fantastic. They should be framed...

Teagan Armstrong is out for the year with a seperated shoulder. #22 is now used by Casey Bollman. He is from Trico and is a very good receiver and is the backup quarterback. As you can tell by these pictures Bollman was Ellett's favorite target.

Great pics I am sure the orion and elverado kids really appreciate it.
