2008 IHSS Class 1A Boys All-State Team
As voted by a statewide panel of sportswriters, broadcasters, coaches, officials, and select informed fans.

1ST TEAM-
* ** Zack Boyd (Sr.), Warrensburg-Latham - 31-1 (school record); scored 691 points this season(school record); 23.9 PPG, 6.8 RPG, 3.8 APG, 1.2 BLKS, 62 3-Pointers, FT 112-134 83.5% - The only unanimous IHSS 1st team selection, Zach Boyd is a prolific scorer on a Cardinals team having a record year for coach Vic Binkley; Scored 28 pts. in win over 3rd-ranked St. Anne at the Riverton Shootout; Scored 27 pts. in Sectional final win over 9th-ranked Putnam County.

Cornelius Chatt (Sr.), Madison - (22-8) 22.1 PPG; 7.1 RPG; 3.1 APG; 66 3-Pointers; 78% on FT - An athletic scoring point guard who can take over a game at anytime when he decides to. Scored 41 pts in Madison's sectional semi-final win over Griggsville-Perry.

Jordan Zimmer (Sr.), Delavan - 28-4 (school record); Senior season stats: 736 pts. / 23.0 ppg; 3 pt made: 123 (top 10 on IHSA all-time list); 3 pt%: 123-293/42.0%; 2pt%: 121-211/57.4%; FT%: 125-137 / 91.3%; Rbs: 132 rbs/4.1 rpg; Asst: 99 ast/3.1 apg; Steals: 54 stl/1.7 spg; Career high 44 points (including 22 in 4th qtr.) in sectional semi-final vs. Putnam County; Totaled 2043 career points; 347 career 3-pt made (Top 5 on IHSA all-time list); 86.5% career FT %Started 121 out of 122 varsity games in career (2 regional titles); College interest from D-1 St. Louis, D-III Augustana, Illinois Wesleyan, Elmhurst.

Jordan Kindred (Sr.), Chrisman - (22-7) - Scored 235 FG's; 704 season points; 24.3 PPG with a season-high 37; FT's 150-193 77.7%; 6.9 assists per game; 3.1 steals per game; Hilltopper Classic Tournament MVP; Jordan is the grandson of former Chrisman coach Roger Beals; A big-time shooter and scorer who was one of the toughest match-ups in the state for every team Chrisman played against.

Cliff Fleming (Sr.), St. Anne - (22-8) - Averaging 17 PPG; Assists: 5 APG; Steals: 4 SPG; An extremely quick point guard who pushes the tempo at every opportunity; Cliff is the best player on an Elite 8 Cardinals team coached by Rick Schoon; Led St. Anne with 22 pts in their Sectional Championship win over Donovan.



2ND TEAM-
Dakin Bolen (Sr.), Hartsburg-Emden - (19-10) -735 pts/24.5 ppg; FG% - 58%; 367 reb/12.2 rpg; 49 steals; 70 blocks; 163 FT/65%; Career: 1650 points, 876 rebounds, 375 FT, 157 blocks, 127 steals; 3-40 point games, 7-30 point games; Totaled 46 pts & 10 rebounds in regional loss to Heyworth.

Jeremy Pflederer (Sr.) Tremont - (22-6) 25.7 PPG; 2.1 SPG; 1.5 BLK; 81% FT; 8.8 RPG; An active leader on the floor at guard for the Turks, Pflederer can slash to the basket or pull up for an any-range jumper with the best in the state.

Nick Sloman (Sr.), Girard - 27-6 (school record); 22 PPG, 50 3 pointers; FT: 138-179 77% ; 4.2 RBG; A big-bodied strong guard who was just as adept at attacking the basket as he was at shooting the deep 3-pointer. Led the Big Red with 17 pts. in the White Hall Sectional final where they lost to Madison, 66-48. Sloman finished with a final total of 2,113 career points at Girard.

Daniel Kohavi (Sr.), Pawnee (16-11) - 23 PPG, 4.5 RBG, 48 3-pointers; FT: 75-89 84%; missed 6 games due to injuries; An extremely athletic guard who is smooth as silk; makes the game look effortless; Can attack the rim and dunk or bury deep 3-pointers off the dribble; Committed to NAIA school Div II school Cedarville University in Columbus, Ohio.

Marland Johnson (Sr.), Mounds Meridian (25-4) - Season Totals: 2FGM - 201; FT 67-111 60%; 469 Points, 16.2 PPG; Scored over 1500 career points; A STRONG and super-athletic forward who can finish above the rim but who has also improved his mid-range game; receiving interest from two nationally-ranked JUCO powers.
